Define BEAUTY for me Please! No..let me :)

Yes...It's cute and all to aspire to look primpy, pretty, and 'proper' like Barbie (as a girl) when you are AGE 6...but as seasoned adults beauty should take on much more of a complex definition. I have met so many people that society would label [physically ugly], but their hearts and their personalities made them look sweeter than honey and more beautiful than the most refined gold. There are many outwardly beautiful people who are rotten on the inside to the core. I really did not want to bring up the subject, but...well, I just couldn't let this pass me by without putting a positive/REALISTIC spin on America's idea of 'what is beauty' into the cyber world! lol  If you are one of my faithful followers you already KNOW how I feel. It is true what they say that "beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder." Have you ever seen two not so attractive people together, but they are so happy with each other? That's because they have gotten past the human surface level superficiality and got to know each other and fell in love. In the movies, in any time period or historial era, you'll always see a handsome man or old perve INSTANTLY falling in love with the beautiful woman. They don't even know them and they are 'madly in love'--completely head over heels! As humans, we must be honest that we are all shallow to some extent. When we see a physically beautiful person, we tend to associate that with class and kindness...not always so.
I have NOT accepted, but realized that that BIG, EVIL MONSTER called MEDIA will not stop to uplift the idea of beauty, which often times is not real. COUNTERFEIT. People's Magazine claims Beyonce as one of the most beautiful women and they have not 'ordained' a Black woman with that title in 9 years. Essence has too, if I saw correctly. People are enraged because..ok YES yes yes we all know she is beautiful and curvaceous, but look at her...light eyes, light skin, and she's been rocking blonde for I dont know how long!
I remember when I was a young girl, before Beyonce was even out on the scene...Halle Berry was the woman to be admired and to me SHE is more beautiful than Beyonce and even still Berry is half white. Why can't Nina Simone one of the best musical innovators of all time be considered beautiful? Why can't magazines do an aesthetic beauty addition? Seriously. In today's world, even though things are slowly changing (or so one would like to think) you can be as cute as a button but in that world, if you are plus size or over a size two...like the cute Paris Hilton (who I do think is cute) than you are not beautiful. People's mag threw Adele in the list, so I guess they can't be charged with discriminating plus sized icons. Clever move you bastards. I am not bashing any 'beautiful celebs.' Im going to move away from that and rise above that. Yes these women are beautiful outwardly, but it is so so very dangerous to continuously put ANYONE on a pedestal. That's idolatry. Lastly, I do not think it's right to portray FAKE as real beauty. Beyonce has has nose surgery, waste reduction surgery, and wears tons of makeup and pounds of weave every day! Same with Nicki Minaj, Kelly Rowland and even many many many Female White stars. Breast implants, butt implants, lip reduction...the list goes on for days. I challenge you today to look at others and yourself and find BEAUTY...start with habits, talents, style, uniqueness, their heart, their desires...I PROMISE YOU that person will began to look so much more 'beautiful'! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!
